Kenta McGrath

A 4-channel video installation commissioned by SymbioticA artists Ionat Zurr and Oron Catts for the 2023 Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria. The work was designed as an audiovisual stand-in for SymbioticA’s Sunlight, Soil & Shit (De)Cycle (or 3SDC) project, which received an Award of Distinction in the "Artificial Intelligence & Life Art" category of Prix Ars Electronica. The installation is guided by AMY, the same AI narrator featured in Kenta McGrath and Joseph London’s documentary about the 3SDC project, Sunlight: YES.
