Call to Account

Call to Account is a protest film produced in the lead-up to Human Rights Week in 2015, devised by Suvendrini Perera and Researchers Against Pacific Black Sites (RAPBS). The work focuses on people from various walks of life – in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle – reading out charge sheets and calling the Australian Government to account for perpetrating human rights violations against asylum seekers and refugees. I edited the 17-minute version of the film and shot the segments in Fremantle.
