A portrait of the city of Perth at the tail end of the mining boom.

Mining Boom is part of Perth, Next Station, a series of short documentary/experimental films produced in collaboration with Masters students from the University of Chile (under the tutelage of filmmaker and FIDOCS director Carlos Flores del Pino). The filmmakers exchanged short films over a period of several months, with each film responding to the previous one and addressing a particular aspect of the city in which it was made (Perth and Santiago).
