A music video for Rabbit Island’s “This Town”, from the album O God, Come Quick (Badminton Bandit Records).

Rabbit Island (aka Amber Fresh) asked a bunch of different artists to pick a song from her album O God, Come Quick and make a video. My first and second picks were already snapped up but I was happy with the song I ended up with, which is quite different to the others tracks on the album. The video intercuts footage taken at AQWA (The West Australian Aquarium) with shots from The Groundskeeper, an FTI-funded short film from 2007 that never really saw the light of day (outside of a couple of local screenings) because we weren’t very pleased with the result. I used footage from this film again a few years later, in Nice Shot, No Problem – thus getting some decent mileage out of what we initially saw only as a failure.
